Rowana was a Generative Engine Optimization platform I founded in April 2025 and successfully exited in July 2025. The platform gave LLMs the cheat codes to understand websites by building tools that optimized content for AI comprehension. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and vector databases, Rowana represented a novel approach to making web content more accessible to large language models. The successful acquisition validated the market need for GEO tooling.
